Rejected petition HMRC should accept 2019/20 tax returns for self-employed not included in support

Hundreds of thousands of the Self Employed have not been included in the CV19 income support unless they submitted a tax return to HMRC in 2018/19. I propose the newly self-employed submit their tax returns for 2019/20 so HMRC have the data they need.

More details

The current income support package is widely accepted as falling short for hundreds of thousands of self-employed people. Many people will be in a very financially precarious position without the support that far wealthier employed people will enjoy.
