Rejected petition Extra hours worked by frontline staff should be paid tax free.
Discuss this and repay the tax on extra hours worked by front line staff who covered the shifts of ill and shielded colleagues. These staff members put themselves at additional risk to save lives during this world pandemic.

This seems only fair. These were hours taken away from family life. The increased exposure caused increased risk to us and our families. We willingly did this to help the vulnerable of our society. I feel that this the only tax break frontline workers should be granted. Our salaries for our usual hours should remain taxed which seems only fair to me.
