Prisoners are locked up for 23/23.5 hours a day when before they were let out for 10 hours a day. More prisoners would be let out earlier which slows down coronavirus from spreading in prisons. Protecting both guards and prisoners. This would be some compensation for both prisoners and families that are unable to attend visits.
