This petition was rejected
Why was this petition rejected?
It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.
The Government isn't responsible for capturing data about health conditions of people who have contracted Covid-19. This would be a matter for NHS.
You may have seen that yesterday the Prime Minister stated that the Government would be bringing forward a strategy to address obesity in the UK: https://hansard.parliament.uk/Commons/2020-07-22/debates/AE78F04E-6394-4484-86EF-CF53E55D595E/Engagements#contribution-B4ED7958-2C94-4A9F-A8C6-E39670AF7DE1
You could start a petition calling for the Government to take a specific action or increase funding to tackle obesity, if that is what you want to happen.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
