In the wake of the ‘cash for access’ scandal – we believe a fully independent and public enquiry is the only way to restore faith in our parliamentary democracy. It is wholly unacceptable that policies the government have been pursuing may have been influenced and shaped by wealthy donors in return for private dinners at Number 10.

We call upon David Cameron and the House of Commons to order a public enquiry.
