Closed Make manufacturers provide a nut-safe logo on ALL nut free products

Instead of manufacturers listing allergens on the back of pre packaged food and detailing whether a product contains nut or traces of, an easier (and safer) option for nut allergy sufferers would be to have a recognised 'nut friendly' logo on the front of packaging. At present, the policy is that, if there is no mention of nuts, you can 'assume' the product is safe. As the mother of a recently diagnosed severe allergy sufferer, I would like a definitive Yes or No as to whether I am feeding my son a potentionally life threatening substance.
