Rejected petition Its 21st Century, Don't want TV Licences in UK

Its 21st century, our tv licencing department here in UK still sends staff door to door to check tv licences.

My main concern is who watches BBC these days? Then why should we pay £145.50 for a year's licence?

Even UK Government ruled on some countries in the past and some of them are still under british rule even those countries are TV Licence free? why

Why not here in UK?
