Petition Pension flat rate to be rejected

Many of us have paid into SERPS and have paid many more years than the minimum thirty year requirement. Those of us who did not opt out of SERPS and pay into a private pension should not lose out. Also those of us who have paid in for over thirty years should receive some additional payment.
It has been calculated that if the flat rate of £150 is paid to all that quite a number of pensioners could lose up to £5,000 a year; for many pensioners this £5,000 is a very significant part and the lose of which will cause great harm.
