Rejected petition 'Corruption' as an alternative to Public Funding for Political Parties is not acceptable

Following the latest 'Cash for Access' scandal, we once again hear the lame " this sort of thing wouldn't happen if Parties received Public Funding' In other words - "Pay for our Party Political Media Circus or we WILL fiddle our expenses, take payments for access to Ministers etc, etc". This is not acceptable! We ask that all Parties remain self-funding AND that The Government appoints indepenent monitors to ensure that cexisting Regulations./ Laws are now STRICTLY enforced.
