Closed petition Property developers should fund infrastructure projects e.g. reservoirs, power stations

As property developers have been given the green light to build thousands of new homes; allowing them to make vast profits - a large proportion of their profits, as condition of their approval to build, should be used to fund additional infrastructure, rather than the tax payer. Not just limited to local amenities e.g. roads and schools: how many new reservoirs have been built in the last decade to increase water storage yet the population and new builds has vastly increased? Perhaps also investment into the country’s energy generating capacity etc
