Closed petition Pensions for women over 60

Closed on

To look into those women who had to stop work at 6 months pregnant: who were dependent on their husbands/partners, who brought up their children (in the 1970's/80's) without thought of their own future, who became single/divorced/separated, and who reached the age of 60 without sufficient years to be eligible for a full State pension.
ie: my State pension is approx. £50 pw.
I truly feel our Government should be made aware of so many of these women, who seem to have been excluded in the change in State Pensions. Why?
How about the introduction of a minimum limit for ALL pensioners born before 1949. After all, we have the right to know WHY we have been left out.

Thankyou.
