Rejected petition Benefits for diaysis patients
More details
Dialysis does not cure people. It keeps them alive. Having no kidneys has major implications for the body, such as virtually constant tiredness, anaemia, overload of fluid or dehydration, inability to control body temperature, itching and many other effects. We would like to see Renal Dialysis patients considered in a different way to other disabled people as we appear to function well but in reality struggle to do so. We frequently have poor quality of life are very limited in what we do and where we go.
