There is an increasing number of abandoned BBQ’s left in beauty spots. People do not take them home as they are hot. They are invariably abandoned for others to clean up. Aside from the waste issue, there is a proven fire risk plus damage to council property (benches and bins). Children and animals digging in sand are finding buried BBQ’s which presents further hazards.
