Rejected petition Allow large zoos, such as Chester and Twycross, to re-open now (or soon).

Large zoos should be allowed to re-open now, or in July when other leisure facilities will re-open. They can easily limit the number of visitors and operate social distancing measures in their large open places. I believe most of these zoos have already made detailed plans to become Covid-safe.

If these zoos are not allowed to re-open soon, most will face huge financial difficulties, which will have serious repercussions for the animals that they look after, not to mention the important research and conservation activities they are all involved in.
