Closed petition Stop the 'WAR' against Modified Cars

The discrimination against drivers of modified cars has become more and more, particularly with the addition of the Section 59 where by the police can confiscate your car with NO evidence what so ever other than one person saying your disturbing them!

Local councils are stopping groups of friends from meeting up to show off their cars in locations like car parks of closed businesses often on Sunday evenings.
In such car parks, drivers are, more often than not:
-Out of the way of local residents
-Off the roads, therefore causing less of a danger to other road users
-All in one place, so easy for a police ANPR system to be parked up, to deter illegal behaviour.

Help from the police and local councils allowing, even organising the 'cruises' to take place will keep the drivers happy, but with friendly police presence it will also restore some much needed respect for the authorities!
