Petition phonics testing for 5 year olds

I am appalled that the Government are introducing a test for 5 year olds that won't tell them anything they don't already know. Why are we allowing out babies to be labelled as failures before they've even had the opportunity to begin learning?

I would like to see the Government retract this decision so that no child is subjected to testing at such an early age
