Closed Company car taxation

Company car drivers are being issued with incorrect tax codes despite the correct information being given to HM Revenue and Customs.

This results in drivers over (or sometimes under) paying tax and is also an administrative nightmare for the fleet manager.

We call on the Government to review the way HMRC processes the information related to company car benefit-in-kind and fuel benefits to improve accuracy when issuing tax codes.
