Child benefit for most is used for the benefit of children but in some cases funds the parent’s lifestyle. As a way of ensuring the child benefits from the money, reduce the child benefit for school age children by, for example, £10 a week to DIRECTLY fund free school meals (at a DESCENT standard) for all school children.
