Rejected petition Housing should be a human right.

There are plenty of buildings around the U.K. that aren’t being used and are empty. They should be transformed into housing facilities for those suffering from homelessness.

More details

Shelters are having to turn people away as they are on a first come first basis at no fault of their own. The government is deliberately overlooking a crisis that is solvable. There are countries outside of the U.K. that were able to end homelessness and provide counselling for those who have suffered or are suffering from homelessness. If the U.K. is able to fund the art sector £1.75b, then they are able to fund organisations who are having to fundraise to help the homeless.
