To implement the requests from the letter from Dementia charities to allow relatives of Dementia Care Home Residents to be classed as key workers and be given the same access to testing and care homes as staff.

We have seen at first hand with my own mother the mental and physical decline of care home residents with dementia who have been cut off from seeing their relatives during the pandemic of Covid-19. We urgently request the you implement the request to treat relatives as key workers; test us regularly and allow us the access and close contact that these residents need from their families.
