Rejected petition Get schools to teach kids life skills (e.g how to pay bills) USEFULL THINGS !
Rather than teaching us irrelevant things we don’t need, teach us about how to handle rent, how to pay bills etc.
More details
It can really help kids out to figure this stuff out. To put our worrying to rest and all of it will be put to use in our later life

Why was this petition rejected?
We can't publish petitions when the request is something that's already happening or something that has been announced since you started your petition.
We think your petition is covered by Government or Parliament action already. If you'd like something else, you could start a new petition clearly explaining what it is.
The national curriculum already states that secondary school students should be taught about the functions and uses of money, the importance and practice of budgeting, income and expenditure, credit and debt, insurance, savings and pensions, financial products and services, and how public money is raised and spent.
You can read the full national curriculum for key stages 3 and 4 here: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/840002/Secondary_national_curriculum_corrected_PDF.pdf
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
