Return democracy to the council tax payers remove the executive councillors and return decisions to the councillors who are elected by the residents. The role of the executive councillors is undemocratic as my councillor cannot vote on the decisions. Executive councillors are not democratic but the stooges of the council officials. Bring back democracy to the council tax payers and force councils to consult residents.
