Rejected petition Pay rise for ALL health workers and nurses

The government has recently announced that all nhs doctors and dentists will receive a pay rise, due to their efforts fighting the COVID-19 outbreak. They also stated this does not apply to nurses and other healthcare workers who have worked tirelessly to fight the same outbreak and deserve one too

Nurses, midwives, and other healthcare workers in the U.K. have worked selflessly and tirelessly in demanding and dangerous conditions. Spending weeks on end clapping to show thanks for ALL health workers on a Thursday evening was a nice gesture, but clearly an empty one if they are now being denied a reward for the same hard work that doctors and dentists have put in.
