A DAD who has never held his baby daughter is pleading for help to be reunited with his family.

Separated by more than 1,000 miles, Hakan Yildiz has been refused entry to the UK, despite his Sunderland-born wife and their six-month-old living here.

The 23-year-old was refused a visa last year, but says he has no idea why authorities are keeping his family apart.
