At present the Hague Convention doesnot take into consideration the best interests of children involved in international kidnapping, abduction and detaining cases.Not taking into account a child's best interest can have a detrimental effect on them both emotionally and physically. The Hague Convention needs to be redressed and amended to include the child's best interest.
