Petition Ensure that police who are dressed for war and wear balaclavas to hide their identity bear a LARGE AND CLEAR identification tag.

While it is absolutely not necessary to know the names and addresses of the police who are wearing balaclavas to protect their identities while acting in defence of the people of the country, there MUST be a way of identifying them for the purposes of the investigation of illegal acts by any one of them. Clearly visible NUMBERS or ALPHABETICAL identifiers MUST be provided so that the police organisation cannot mount the defence 'we can't prove which one of them did it' when somebody is illegally mistreated or killed by the rogue actions of one of the members of this organisation. Recent history has demonstrated that this sort of event IS GOING TO HAPPEN, not 'maybe going to happen'.
