Closed Review CE marking Regulations for small volume handmade toys

To prevent the wholesale loss of small volume independent manufacturers of handmade toys. Introduce a procedure to allow exclusions against the requirements for mandatory CE marking of toys on specific grounds (eg volume, purpose for manufacture, method of manufacture, materials etc).
The government should develop alternative procedures for initial and on-going periodic sample testing of toys of this type to confirm appropriate levels of safety are achieved and compliance to applicable sections of the regulations are met.
