Closed Allow dying people to have enough pain relief to stop suffering

My granddaugher died of a rhabdoid tumour of the liver. The doctors were unable to relieve her pain as sufficient doses of painkiller to alleviate pain could have hastened death which is presently illegal.
This petition is to persuade the government to change the law so no terminally ill child, or indeed adult, can be denied sufficient pain relief if they or a responsible adult asks for this even if it shortens the patient's life.
