The Beecroft Report is proposing a number of changes further to one already made by the government to reduce our employment rights...
One scenario say you worked for a company for 10yrs that got taken over by another company, the new proposals would mean you would not retain your existing terms and conditions; your employment history would reset to Zero and then the new company could sack you without any redundancy payout!
The Beecroft report was commissioned to reduce Red Tape, When does taking away a persons right reduce red tape!?
