In view of the clandestine support the Pakistan government gives to the Taliban only goods and gifts in kind should be allowed to be sent to Pakistan from the UK. This would allow export of goods bought in the UK to assist the economy. No actual hard currency to be allowed to be sent from the UK to Pakistan. Pakistan has stopped NATO supply routes and imprisoned an agent who assisted in the capture of Bin Laden. Such actions require sanctions from the UK.
