Employees can claim mileage for driving if required to travel for their work; however they cannot claim for walking.Walking is healthier and makes one more alert. Put in place a scheme to allow employees to claim mileage for walking in the same way as for driving to encourage people to walk , stay healthy and reduce traffic congestion
