To demand the right to compensation, from the union(s) involved, of one day's pay for one parent from every family, during disruptive strikes such as those that cause the inability to travel to work within a reasonable time; or schoolchildren under 16 forced to stay at home during a regular schoolday.

This leaves all unions and members with their rights to strike intact; but allows those who wish to continue working to carry on doing so without the resultant and unwarranted disruption and financial penalties.
