Closed Raising the profile of Gynaecological conditions and Infertility: please take them seriously.

We, the undersigned, ask that the Government increase public awareness of Gynaecological conditions, and their effects on women and men. This is to be supported by:
1. Improved and increased mandatory training for ALL medical practitioners.
2. Improved and increased employer awareness - employees with said conditions to have mandatory rights, especially regarding infertility treatment.
3. Encouraging recognition of Gynaecological conditions and their effects - especially infertility - as DISABILITIES under the D.D.A.
4. Provision and funding of support and resources - both physical and emotional aid.
5. Removal of the discriminatory age and body mass index barriers to N.H.S. funded fertility treatment.

Conditions to consider include ENDOMETRIOSIS, ADENOMYOSIS, FIBROIDS, POLYCYSTIC OVARIES, UTERINE ABNORMALITIES, INFERTILITY(MALE AND FEMALE)... list NOT exhaustive. Note, these conditios are often chronic, painful, debilitating, hidden, upsetting and affect quality of life!
