Petition The National Minimum Pay
More details
In an endeavour to raise the living standards of the majority of people in Britain, I propose the national minimum pay be raised to not less than £7-50 per hour by January the 1st 2014 with no exceptions.
I also propose that the minimum pay is hourly based, this to prevent unscrupulous employers from using false promises of semi or none existent bonuses and commissions as a way of gaining cheap labour, at well below the national minimum pay rate.
All employers also to be required by law to give their workforce an annual pay rise in line with the increased cost of living, at present employers are not legally bound to do this and as a result most do not, the result of which leading to the workforce getting ever further into financial difficulty.
