This is a petition against the reclassification of large swathes of green belt land in and around Rotherham into building land.

This is connected with the Local Development Framework and Sites & Policies document which in their current form will see about two thirds of housing in the next 15 years being built on green belt land.

We object to this, RMBC's own documents show that there is nearly sufficient brown field land to satisfy development requirements. We would like to see all of this land used before any green belt land is used.
