Closed People with dementia should be entitled to disabled parking badges.

Disabled parking badges are currently issued only to those with physical mobility problems. People with dementia lose the capacity to understand road safety and are at constant risk of wandering into the road causing danger to themselves and others. It would be a great help if their carers could park as close as posible to their destination thus reducing the risk of accident.
These carers need all the help they can get.
