Closed Honour the promise in the Coalition Agreement not to increase the state pension age for men and women.

The coalition government should honour their promise regarding state pensions i.e. NOT to raise the age limit for women before 2020 and for men before 2016.

Millions of people will lose thousands of pounds that they have worked for as they will have to work for much longer than they had intended.

Their plans for retirement have been jeopardised.

This broken promise is unfair, unnecessary and totally unacceptable. Ministers need to do a u-turn on this mean-spirited move and honour their word.
