Closed petition No more tax payers money for policing royal weddings

Closed on

Many millions of pounds of public money was spent on policing royal weddings in the 1970s and 1980s only for those weddings all to end in divorce, more recently in the 1990s and early 2000s we have seen some lower profile but costly to police royal weddings and of course in 2011 the very opulent and costly royal wedding of Prince William which was a private matter !

We want the government to force our royal family members to pay for the policing of these royal weddings from their own private wealth rather than burdening the tax payer with those costs.
