The average age for a girl to start their period is 12.
The average age for menopause is 52.
Therefore there are an average of 40 years a women will have to go through their monthly cycle.
Making that 480 periods, costing around £2400 over the 40 years for sanitary products (worked out at £5 a month)
Birth control products such as condoms, the pill, injection etc are available on the NHS & we the undersigned think that female sanitary products should be added to that list.
Even if they are not made free a voucher towards the cost would be be a great help.
