Petition STOP CHAINING DOGS
More details
Chainig up dogs is abuse. There woould be less dangerous dogs if they were not abused.
The Humane Society does not recommend chaining or tying dogs up.
If someone was to tie up a child, even if they were provided with food, water and shelter,it would be considered abuse. Why then do we have double standards when it comes to our four legged friends.Britain is supposed to be a country of dog lovers, and yet we allow this hurt and suffering to animals.
Chaining and tying can increase frustration and aggressive behaviour. As well chained and tied dogs can become tangled in their chain or rope and become injured.A chained dog is unprotected and can be attacked by other animals or people.
Just because they are not human does not mean theydon't feel pain and suffering.Their bodies are much like ours.
Bring out a law that forbids people to chain or tie up a dog.
