Rejected petition CCTV coverage in care, nursing and residential homes

Your Voice Matters Campaign wants CCTV to be compulsory in all care, nursing and residential homes and be managed by an independent body to the Government, care sector or associated charities. The ONLY way to prove abuse is by visual proof. A relative's and/or care worker's word is often dismissed. Pressure would also be relieved from good care workers who are too fearful to 'whistle blow'.
