Change to the Pre 1960 M.O.T exemption to an M.O.T that is more relevant to the vehicle than it's modern day counterpart. That is half the time and at a reduced rate.

1: Ensure's that ALL cars private and business are safe to be on the road.
2: Peace of mind for the owner of the vehicle and other road user's.
3: Stop any other restrictions being put on the vehicle..
4: Still keeps specialist garages in business.
5: Keeps insurance cost's for the vehicle and events down.
6: Reduce any backlash from other motorists.
7: Prevent people from owning dangerous vehicles.
8: Stop vehicles that are bought abroad not having any safety checks.
9: To keep classic vehicle owners contributing to the economy.
