Call upon our government to not only tighten the rules regarding so called Cold calls but to outlaw them.
The practice of cold calling and blanket text-ing has become a plague upon our society, with the elderly and vulnerable being hounded by up to 20 calls per day.
These aim not only to intimidate the receiver into submission but to also harass into submission.
A clear pathway to stop these is urgently needed, this should also be applied to non UK calls the telecommunication companies have the technology to block them
