Petition suitable housing for single disabled people under 55

After becoming disabled five years and being single and forty nine years of age it has been brought to my attention the difficulty of getting suitable accomadation to my needs.The properties that are suitable are either two bedroom or have an age limitation on them ie 55+ or 65+.The choice based letting agency does not see you as a medical priority for these properties and the ones you are offered the housing associations/authorities refuse you because they are not wheelchair accessible.Catch 22.
