Closed Staff of St George of England and St Wilfrid’s dismissed!

Staff at St George of England Specialist Engineering College and St Wilfrid’s R.C High School, in Bootle, have been issued with ‘termination of employment’ notices from Sefton Authority.
When the ‘Hawthorne’s Free School’ opens on the site, only half of the staff will have jobs in the new school. Some of these teachers have worked at their school for over 20 years and never expected to be treated like this.
The Free School Trustees, the Government, and the local authority must not be allowed to treat loyal employees of Sefton in this manner!
