Closed petition investergation into insurance policys and Banks

I would like the Goverment to inverstegate the banks & insurance companys to ask why people named on policys in the event of a death ie mother or brother not next of kin that this information is not passed on to the persons named on the policy by the bank or insurers and is only passed on to the next of kin who are not named. And the banks and any insurer are able to with hold this information from the policy holder who is named . And why the policy can be paid to a person who are not named regardless of the persons wishes whether married or not in the event of a death people are ask to name who they would like to lieve there money to and this is not carried out.
