Closed Stop the government cutting our armed forces

With so many cuts happening to the armed forces and the announcement made today (5/7/2012) for 20,000 job losses within the army by 2020 we believe that it is an absolutely disastrous move and will put us into a very weak and poorly defended position despite the professionalism and courage of the members of the armed forces. we believe the reduction in numbers is wrong and should be reversed or at least reconsidered to more effectively take into account many potential factors for the future and the wider benefit to having more troops on areas such as employment and society
