Rejected petition Leicester's Glenfield Childrens Heart Hospital

The Joint Committee of Primary Care Trusts made their final decision ~ behind closed doors to the media,etc.,~ on 4 July 2012 , to close the Childrens Heart Surgeries unit at Glenfield. This unit has just opened new wards to cope with the increase in demand for childrens heart surgery of which this hospital has internationally recognized clinical excellence , supported in research etc., by the Leicester University .
We the undersigned urgently ask the government to overturn this short-sighted decision.
