after the death of eric sykes i still cannot understand the rationale behind who gets honours and who does not.the great eric sykes certainly deserved a knighthood as much as any sports star,no matter how successful.
i nominate mr barry cryer for a knighthood.along with mr sykes,he has been one of the mainstays of british entertainment for many decades and i can think of nobody more deserving.his record needs no qualification from me.please mr cameron,make it SIR barry cryer sooner than later.at least it will show that honours are not always 'for the boys'.PLEASE SIGN...
