We the undersigned do not want the Chequers pub in Orton Wistow to be turned into Tesco Express, There are already 18 Tesco stores within 10 miles of Peterborough City Center and our local pub is not the right location for another one. Location is all wrong with regards to, safety, noise, local small businesses and increased traffic.
Tescos are floughting a loop hole in the law that is allowing them to take over run down pubs and not require planning permission for change of use. This is wrong
